International Tuition Fees
Tuition fees stated on this website are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD$), listed as annual fees and are an only an indicative course cost.
Fees are Consumer Price Indexed (CPI) which means tuition fees will increase annually. The amount of indexation to be applied to course fees is determined on an annual basis with total course tuition fees being comprised of projected annual fee rates, which may be subject to change.
Payments
Fee payments are made online directly to the University via the Western Union, not to any third parties such as agents. Instructions on how to pay fees and other costs can be found on our How to apply page.
Rough guide to living costs
The University of Tasmania is an affordable option for international students, providing a great standard of living and lower accommodation costs than other Australian capital city universities.
The following is a rough guide to living costs for international students living in Tasmania (in Australian dollars). Of course, these will vary depending on your preferred standard of living and where you choose to live.

- Entertainment, sport, personal care: $60 to $150 per week

Financial requirements for your visa
In order to receive a student visa, you must show you have the financial means to study in Australia, including your travel expenses, tuition fees and living costs. If family are travelling with you, you will also need to provide evidence of additional funds to cover their costs as well.
